Walker Hotel - Sanchong

Room was wide enough for two, bright, comfy bed, very clean, and I liked the vintage bathroom. The room was renovated. I think the value for the price is very good. It’s convenient for get to the city with the bus or subway. You have lots of shops and food options around. Breakfast included but don’t expect something fancy. Does the job if you’re on a budget.

Positives 1. The hotel is located in Sanchong District. Just one bus stop away from the Sanchong Metro. 2. The bus stop was located just outside the hotel, giving convenient access to travel in the city. 3. The room provided had a King Sized bed. 4. The room had a balcony, from which we could see the high rise buildings in the vicinity. 5. The room had fresh air, ventilation and natural sunlight. 6. The bathroom was large and spacious, having a bath tub. 7. All basic facilities were provided, like electric kettle, complimentary water and slippers. 8. The Breakfast was delicious and healthy. 9. The hotel provided complimentary coffee and juice, which could be consumed any time during the stay. 10. The hotel staff were helpful and understood our requirements well. Negatives 1. The hotel did not have permanent plates, cutlery and utensils. They provided plastic plates, spoons and bowls, which added to the trash. 2. As we were vegetarians, we had limited choices of vegetarian food. 3. There were no salads or fresh fruits in the buffet.

Hotel is walkable from Sanchong metro station, which happens to be stop on the train from airport. Although the walking route is not straight, it doesn't have any major intersections to cross. Two convenience stores very close. The desk staff is extremely efficient. Luggage can be left. Breakfast decent and opened early. Room AC is strong, and shower had lots of hot water and pressure.

I like the lobby area. It's very wide and comfortable. I like breakfast also. they served rice in the morning. They consider there are some Asians eating rice in the morning heheh. I just love it.

The facility served good healthy food but it would be better if they have sunny side up egg and sausages. They are very attentive to their guests and very helpful and would even facilitate your needs/ requests in as much as they can. Front desk staffs were friendly and nice, too.
